Can’t Beat Tokeny’s Team Retreat

Happy July from the entire Tokeny team! We hope you are enjoying your summer or winter wherever you are in the world.

Can you believe we are already past the halfway point of the year?! Time flies when you are having fun and we at Tokeny know a thing or two about having fun… well if you call the growth and success of our team fun then yes, a ton of fun over here.

We know how much you love discussing tokenization topics each month, but we figured it’s equally as important for our readers to get to know us a bit more on a personal level.

Just as blockchain thrives on a decentralized network, we believe that our team’s dispersed nature isn’t a hindrance but a strength that enables us to tap into global talent and diverse perspectives.

In fact, the Tokeny team covers 20 nationalities, which allows us to ideate and analyze from a myriad of perspectives on a daily basis.

Indeed, while a decentralized workforce offers various benefits, it can sometimes inhibit the natural human connection that typically thrives in in-person settings. Recognizing this, we decided to arrange a gathering for all our team members over the past two years.

Specifically, we gathered in Sitges, a charming beach town near Barcelona, known for its beautiful beaches, stunning sights, and lively atmosphere.

You could feel the positive, anticipatory energy in the air on the first day as everyone arrived, for the veterans to reconnect and for the newcomers who haven’t met everyone in person yet, the stage was set for an incredible trip.

For the next 3 days, we came together for an incredible journey that was all about rejoicing, rejuvenation, and reigniting our team spirit.

We all joined together for team dinners, water competitions, and of course, we made some time to be productive and get work done face-to-face, which was nice for a change.

Final Thoughts

The excitement we had in seeing each other was truly remarkable. As our company grows in stature, so do we grow in numbers. We could all feel the communal sense that we know our company and products are very unique, and as we continue to push forward, we will achieve our goals and overcome any obstacles in our way.

Spending a short, yet packed three days with the Tokeny family was a real pleasure. The bonds and camaraderie among us have grown significantly, and this will surely reflect in the work we produce.

Also, a special thank you to Ivie Satijn, Denisa Kutschera and Radka Tocikova for their incredible work in preparing this event, it’s never easy to plan an event for dozens of people from all over the world. Finally, thank you to our customers and partners for the trust you put in our team.
