Who are you?
My name is Radka, I’m from Slovakia where I studied International Relations at the Economic University of Bratislava. After my Erasmus studies in Paris, I lived abroad in Belgium, Luxembourg, and Monaco where I am now. At Tokeny I do what I love and I’m aware it’s a big chance. Taking care of people, challenging them, finding ways to push some of them out of their comfort zone, listening to them, trying to improve the collaboration & the use of the collective intelligence (to name a few of my responsibilities). Interviewing new candidates and assessing who would be the best fit is another very challenging part of the job and a huge responsibility. A CV and a 30 min chat is never enough to really appreciate someone’s potential. I met some amazing talents and I would like to thank everyone who applied.
How did you land at Tokeny Solutions?
I knew the project from its very beginning, I was a close follower and a fan. However, I must admit that when I spoke with Luc, our CEO, about help with administration, partnership agreements and recruitments, I thought it was for a few months. It’s been almost 4 years now, I fell in love with the team, I have great colleagues, my work matters, our project is so innovative and disruptive, and we still have so much to achieve and build together. I am delighted with all these challenges ahead of us.
How would you describe working at Tokeny Solutions?
We learn, we try, we fail, we argue, we discuss, we laugh, we adapt, we do, we celebrate, and then repeat. I really enjoy working in such an international environment. The remote and the hybrid are here to stay, something we’ve embraced since the very beginning. Being flexible and being able to adapt to the needs of our team members is also a plus. What’s really common about Tokeny is that everyone is friendly and open-minded. And you can say what you have to say. We’ve weathered the storms, the sea isn’t always flat, but everyone on board knows we’re heading in the right direction and I hope we continue to have fun on our way!
What are you most passionate about in life?
I am passionate about life itself, its purpose, its meaning, even its futility. I love Contemporary Art because it not only reflects but also questions life. I’m an epicurean, with a slight preference for fusion cuisine with umami in it. I’ve traveled a lot, which has helped me understand myself better. And books..I like to read books. Music, cultural events, exhibitions, theater, innovation technologies, blockchain potential, AI, neuroscience, personal development are all topics that trigger my interest. My passion peaks especially when I have a mix of the above, like immersive art or a VR team building escape room.
What is your ultimate dream?
Hakuna Matata! And never stop dreaming…
What would you change in the world if you could?
War, global warming, poverty, abuse, discrimination, disease. There are too many injustices in this world I would like to change, not easy to pick one of them. If I could, I would erase the suffering of children.
For me, changing the world means changing myself at first. Therefore, that is my main objective, and at the same time that is what I can do. Being the best possible version of myself and having a positive impact around me. (Ok, ok, work in progress ;-))
