Who are you?
I am Sefa, Front-end Developer for Tokeny. I was born and raised in Bursa and graduated from Turkish Military Academy as an army aviation officer. I started my professional life as a helicopter pilot and later pursued my career in web development. I am also a devoted husband and father of one adorable baby boy.
How did you land at Tokeny?
I worked as a pilot for five years but chose to switch to web development as I have always been interested in programming. I took courses and tutorials about web development. After studying intensively for several months, I became a freelance web developer for small and medium-sized local enterprises. Nonetheless, I was on the lookout for a more exciting full-time job opportunity, and a friend of mine referred me to Tokeny.
How would you describe working at Tokeny Solutions?
It has been a dream working for Tokeny as it is an environment where each member is being cooperative and respected. Usually, thinking about work makes me sick, but working here is an absolute pleasure as I have amazing colleagues. It’s like a second home to me.
What are you most passionate about in life?
Well, I can’t pinpoint anything. I want to make sure to be a better person, travel and explore around and always find new ways to learn, never losing the sense of curiosity.
What is your ultimate dream?
What I can dream of is to end greed and corruption around the world, making this world a better place for future generations. I know it’s kind of a far-fetched idea, but let’s see.
What gets you excited about Tokeny’s future?
Tokeny has already established itself as a leading company. I know it has many more exciting projects coming ahead.
