Who are you?
My name is Thaddee, I am a 28 year old Frenchman. I am a son, a grandson, a brother, and a partner. I’m also a friend, a travel buddy, and a proud Tokeny coworker!
What were you doing before Tokeny and what inspired you to join the team?
Joining Tokeny was really a logical continuation of my previous experiences. I have traveled my entire life: first following my parents and later for my studies. In total, I spent 10 years in South Korea and China, several years in the United States, and spent my university years in the Czech Republic, Spain, and France. Thanks to these experiences, I learned that diversity and an open-minded entourage are must-haves for me. In high school, I started to notice how technology and new companies were constantly reshaping the way I lived. This inspired me to start studying computer science and entrepreneurship.
I started to follow Tokeny and the disruptions happening in finance and real estate while writing my master’s thesis. I was motivated to learn more, and therefore started an internship related to tokenization. After that, I knew that I wanted to continue in this ecosystem. Tokeny was the obvious top choice, and it all happened very naturally.
How would you describe working at Tokeny Solutions?
It’s certainly an incredibly fulfilling experience! I feel very fortunate working with like-minded team members that are so passionate about our mission. For every start-up, there are internal challenges. And, as we have seen in the past years, there will also be new and unforeseen external challenges. I feel reassured being part of a team that has a proven ability to grow together in the face of adversity.
What are you most passionate about in life?
The most important thing to me is to always keep learning and get better at everything I care about. I spend quite some time learning about ways to solve issues such as climate change and finding ways to be proactive about them.
Trying to approach life with a philosophy of gratitude is part of my daily routine, like appreciating the ‘little’ things, good and bad. Of course, I am always looking forward to good times with friends and family. I love listening to and playing music, and on the weekends, you might see me enjoying the thrill of motorcycle driving!
What is your ultimate dream?
Hard question! I’d say being able to look back at my life with a smile, knowing I made the ones around me happy and had even a small but positive impact on society.
What advice would you give to future Tokeny employees?
Welcome aboard 🙂 Getting started can sometimes feel overwhelming. Here are a few things that help me daily: setting priorities, planning the day ahead, asking for help, taking the time to learn things step-by-step, and putting everything into perspective. You will see that learning more about blockchain and technology is really part of everyday life at Tokeny, and it keeps us on our toes!
What gets you excited about Tokeny’s future?
So many different things! Most of all the mix of people working here and the incredible service we provide. In my opinion, tokenization will become mainstream, as what we offer is mind-blowing compared to the traditional approach. Being on the forefront of such an evolution and participating in shaping a better tomorrow for entire industries is, for me, a dream come true.
