Tell us about yourself!
I’m Ali. I was born in 1997 and currently reside in Istanbul, where I work as a software developer at Tokeny. My journey into programming began during my primary school years when I aspired to create my own game modes. Determining my career path at a young age made things easier. As I entered high school, I made the decision to fully commit to programming, kickstarting my career with freelance projects. Since then, I have worked in various domains and technologies, and my ongoing journey has now led me to blockchain.
What were you doing before Tokeny and what inspired you to join the team?
A few years ago, I had no experience with blockchain, but some friends and I decided to start a project using blockchain technology. We began developing smart contracts, and I became really interested in it. That’s when I decided to explore opportunities in this field and started researching blockchain companies. My main criteria were finding a company that was solving real-world problems with meaningful products. Tokenization is crucial in bringing blockchain to the financial industry, and Tokeny is a leader in providing the technology for it. It seemed like a perfect fit for me ?.
How would you describe working at Tokeny?
One thing that stood out to me during the interviews was that everyone was sincere and clear. I didn’t hear any empty buzzwords, which I appreciated. Now that I am an employee, my experience with internal communication has been just as good. We’re a team that works well together, and it’s easy to reach out to anyone for help when needed.
Our product is based on cutting-edge technology, so there’s a lot of room for learning and self-improvement. On top of that, since blockchain is a field that’s always evolving, we have the chance to help shape industry standards. We’ve already made progress with the ERC-3643 protocol, and I believe we’ll achieve even more with ONCHAINID and the new solutions we’re developing. It’s truly exciting to be a part of all this.
What is your ultimate dream?
My ultimate dream is that people can work when they want, where they want, and how much they want, rather than working out of necessity. They should have the time and freedom to pursue their personal goals and fulfillment. This dream may not be a reality today, but with the progress of artificial intelligence and automation, it might be achievable in the future, perhaps a century from now. Of course, this depends on how well we distribute resources fairly and justly.
When the technical limitations are no longer an issue, and human labor in production becomes less necessary, I’d like to see where humanity goes.
What gets you excited about Tokeny’s future?
What excites me about Tokeny’s future is the potential of tokenization to become increasingly prevalent in financial markets and everyday life as time goes on. Having entered the industry during its early stages and contributed to solutions, I believe that we can play a crucial role in this development and make significant contributions to the adoption of blockchain in the industry. Being a part of a company with the potential to become a unicorn is just a bonus! ?
