Who are you?
My name is Eva Gasyte and I am from Lithuania. Even in my childhood I was interested in banks and the financial world, so as a first step towards my career, I studied finance in Vinius. After this I decided to deepen my knowledge and get a Master’s degree, but I also wanted to gain some international experience, and so in 2019 I moved to Monaco and started studying MSc Finance at the University of Monaco. This month I am finishing my internship at Tokeny and I am about to start my professional career.
How did you land at Tokeny Solutions?
As part of my studies at University of Monaco, I am required to do a 6-month internship. Luckily, I was noticed by Tokeny’s HR manager Radka on Linkedin as she read an article about me published by the university, in which I mentioned I am looking for an internship. She contacted me, and after a few interviews I was offered the internship. This is how Tokeny came into my life.
How would you describe working at Tokeny Solutions?
The experience was great in a lot of ways. I like the team, my duties and the company’s culture. Tokeny is a remote friendly company, with people working all over the world. I’ve been communicating with most of the team remotely, but I feel very happy that some of those people became my friends, even though I’ve never met them in real life! During the internship I’ve had a very dynamic schedule – every day was unique for me, with different tasks, and therefore I’ve gained a lot of experience in various fields. Our offices here in Monaco are at MonacoTech which provides a very dynamic and innovative environment. The start-up atmosphere there is amazing. It’s a combination of such a challenging place, exciting projects I took care of and great colleagues that helped me to grow even more and gain agility.
What are you most passionate about in life?
I love traveling and discovering new cultures – it amazes me how many breathtaking places are on Earth, one life is not enough to see everything. Even in Monaco – it is one of the tiniest countries in the world and after 2 years I still find places here I’ve never seen before.
What is your ultimate dream?
My dream is very simple – all I wish is to live a happy life. To succeed in my career, to have a nice family, and that everyone around me is happy as well.
What would you change in the world if you could?
I love animals, and if I could, I would provide home and food for all of them that are abandoned in this world.
